My latest trip has been to Dandeli wildlife santuary, in northern Karnataka. This place is a dense deciduous forest with a wide variety of bird and insect species. I have always like birds. Though, only recently have I seriously started understanding and reading about them, thanks to my photographer friends.
This photo was taken at the Timber Depot in Dandeli town. This place, among other places in the Dandeli sanctuary, is hot for spotting the Malabar Pied Hornbill, an exotic bird found generally in South East Asia.

Great image ! It looks like it's coming from a dream !
Yes, Celine. It was really magical and unforgettable.
B-E-A-utiful! You have some serious talent my friend... what equipment did you use for the actual photo and then for post-processing?
Manmit, I have listed my equipment on the about page. The details are also mentioned below the photograph.
I did not have to post-process this one too much. The morning was like that! Yes difficult to believe, but it was magical.
It is really a dreamy scene... the orange colour splashed across is really beautiful....
but it looks a little grainy... maybe because of the high ISO.....
