Le Rocher Diamant
// July 01, 2007 f/16, 1/400s, ISO 100 (more •)As they call it in Mauritius. Of course, it is quite different from the original 'Rocher Du Diamant'. Guessing from it's unnatural position, it is probably a big block of coral washed closer to the shore during a storm. The colours have come out weird. Couldn't help that. I'm using a Peleng. Can't complain.
I'd been to Mauritius this year for about a week. It was an amazing trip. If yu love water sports and the beach, Mauritius is as good as it gets -- No crowds (if you select your beaches properly), excellent weather (though the full-blown noon sun can literally peel off your skin) and the at-home feeling (due to the Indian majority population). They even have Hindi FM stations there!
