Sun Day
// March 03, 2006 f/16, 1/160s, ISO 100 (more •)What do you do when you have all the beach to yourself? In early evening sun, all you can do is enjoy the serenity and bask in the sun.
The destruction you see around are the tell tale signs of the 2004 Tsunami. As you can see, structures from the land have been washed right upto the beach. This small beach is on the end of the Teluk Nipah bay. The small island right in the front is Giam Pulau. The sea water is so shallow in this part of the bay, you can walk rght upto the island during the low tide. I managed to reach half way through before the sharp rocks on the sea floor started to hurt.
