Private Pier
// March 08, 2006 f/22, 1/30s, ISO 100, C41 cross process filter (more •)A private pier owned by the Pangkor Island Beach Resort. Ofcourse, I did not stay there. We had hired one of the cheap but cosy chalets on the other side of the island, on the equally good Teluk Nipah beach.
I generally like to present photos as they are, with minor sharpening and vignetting here and there. This is the one of the few times that I have tried using image effects. I used an E6/C41 cross process action in Photoshop.

wow, it looks AMAZING!!
Well composed.. nice colors and effects
Beautiful colors. Wonder why you were standing to the right and not the center when you took this shot?
looks really beautiful..
I bet , even without PS effect, it would have been as marvellous! Awesome to the power of INFINITY!
Nice shot. The colors are too good.DOF is nice
Great photo! Amazing colours!
samcam: as my teacher calls it, it's the rule of thirds- the subject should never fall in the center of the photo...
whatever you did, the result is awesome! :)
Umm I hate the effect. Makes me think of how my old National Geographics from the 70's look after they have faded. But those at least had naked tribals with drooping bits. :D
why was it special for you?
what made you take a pic?
beautiful place, neat composition!
Very crisp!

Marvelous sea photo. I like the intensive impression of colors from this picture. Very good work !
The effect is interesting. I wonder what it looked like untouched. Great shot, anyway.
dont know much abou pics , but the eway i see it ,it's simply very good
a 8 of 10 from a layman
looks like a very nice place. I think i would have preferred an untouched version over this one.
nice picture and even better effect. i recognized the effect you had applied it is a cross processing effect. i too have used it many times :-)
Great photo - this has inspired me when I do my next Reface Kitchen Cabinets Project.
