The above is the Perdana Putra -- the Malaysian Prime Minister's Office. This however, is not in Kuala Lumpur as you would think. And to most people's surprise, Kula Lumpur, although the national capital, is not the administrative centre of Malaysia. It is Putrajaya -- a new planned city created just for all matters official. It houses the Prime Minister's office and residence, the King's residence, the ministry offices amidst some really beautiful environs.
Putrajaya also falls in the Multimeia Super Corridor -- a zone created by the Malaysian government to promote information technology in Malaysia. You could compare this to the Special Economic Zones in India, only this is much much bigger than any of the SEZs in India. It extends from Kuala Lumpur right upto Cyberjaya, another planned city, covering almost 50 kms in length.
On a different note, I am happy to annouce that ShutterBug.nu has won the Inibloggies Best Photoblog award. Thanks a million to all those who supported me. I wouldn't say the event was without its own little controversy but all well that ends well. Congratulations to the organisers and the jury.

Thanks guys. Prasoon, no need to go to another country man. Winning it once is good enough. I don't think I'd enjoy taking it again though. :-) Suhail, nice to know that was of help. Vishal, seeing you after a long time.
Hey Nilesh. Congratulations on winning the best photoblog. Great pictures here. Keep it up pal.
Hi Nilesh; nice capture and hearty congratulations on winning the indibloggies contest!
Great photo... I had come to this site from Indibloggies, where I had been to check if one of my fave bloggers (Sonia Faleiro) had won Indiblog of the year.. There I saw that U had been given the best photo blog award and I would say that U are really good... The photo which I liked the most is the the photo of water droplets U had taken in your bathroom... It was awesome..
Great pictures. The fact that you travel, adds to your pic collection. You probably know about this... Try flickr.com... its a photo sharing website with some great stuff. In fact, they recently distributed awards just like on blogger. Try it. There is so much that you get to learn on flickr...
congratulations Nilesh.
awesome snaps u click man.
congrats nilesh...u have great skill..keepup the good work!
Beautiful. But.... your images changed when you went from film to digital, and they didn't change for the better. Sharp and clear-Yes. Better-No. They look very plastic and unrealistic. Steve.
Steve,
You are right in some ways. I haven't been able to take the advantage of digital over film. Film used to give me immense joy on seeing the photos afterwards. Digital photos have not aroused in me the same happiness although the instant gratification should do the trick. Plus, with lots of activities happening, motivation levels have come down to an extent. When on film, I had more time in hand and so more time to think about compositions. I hope I can chnge this soon.
Hi, I was trying to find some inspiration for new design in my mind where Ganesha takes a special place and i found ur abstract Ganesha. It really inspired me to go on.
