This bird reminds me of Joey from F.R.I.E.N.D.S with his ruffled hair and big stare. :-P I cannot recollect the name of this bird. Can you help me find it?
Great pic!!
Can't help with the name, for me all of them are 'birds' :) or as Joey would have said - 'chicks' ;-)
was the bird posing for u.. seems like each bird u've photographed, was photogenic 4 u.. lucky u i cud add :)
Varun, the comment went into moderation because of the link. Thanks for the link, BTW :)
Hey, I think the bird you linked to, is a bit different. Plus the bird in the photo is not from North America.
Prasoon, its a mix of luck and loads of patience to get a photo like this. And small birds, especially, are not known to have any patience. :)
However, photographing a bird in captivity is much easier than capturing in wild.
I'd put my money on "Black Crested Bulbul" :-)
Great shot!
Nice shot. Any idea what caused the 'shadow'? For a sec I was gonna say that the tail of the bird should not have been cut, but then I realised that it cannot have two tails :) That was just the extension of the branch!
Sri, the 'shadow' is another branch in the background totally out of focus.
Do u use any code language with these birds, as they give nice poses,so dat u can catch them in your camera.
No Poonam, a little bit of patience and loads of luck is all that is required. :) Ah, and yes, don't make the bird feel threatened by you r presence and your camera. Another important thing is to absolutely not use flash for your bird photos.
Obviously, this is a Yellow Bellied Plookester III. Male. 37 yrs old, likes walks in the park. Tiny little things to eat. Good shot!
the snap is just excillant
