Inside the window-less Nanjundeshwara temple, it is surprisingly very cool for a hot afternoon. Amidst the stone idols, stone pillars and tranquility of the temple, I could not notice how time passed by so fast. The best time to be at the temple, if you can, is during the afternoon, when the stream of worshippers slow down. The only time when you can really experience the magic inside a thousand yearold temple.
