Moving on from Himachal, in the next few posts, I'll put up photos from my Coorg escapades. Actually I visited Coorg before Himachal but did not post any of the photos from that collection.
Awesome! Especially the second one - I can sense a strange calm from the picture itself! Just curious - was photography allowed inside?
Beautiful... as always!
Cheers,
D.
Chanced upon your collection from Dhar's link. Boss! This is great! Great Collection.
Beautiful composition.. Since you shoot film, What'd you use to get it on the computer?
Dhar, thanks buddy for the comments on your weblog.
Deepak, photography is allowed in there. I was equipped with tripod et al. No one stopped me.
Riff, I get hi-res scans from the shop I get the slides processed.
Excellent,amazing!
Just feel like being there.
very nice, I love the 1st photo :-)
The second snap has a bit of tilt. Was it deliberate?
Love the detail on the first one. Also like the second one with the reflection of the statue on the floor. It's a really nice place. One I'd definitely like to visit again. Hopefully with tripod in tow :)
Great stuff, as always. You're bringing back a lot of memories for me :)
Those colours are brilliant! Is there something in colour negative that produces these results, or thereabouts? I'm not sure my old box can meter accurately enough for slides.
Long time, no post. Where are you Nilesh?
Zishaan, was busy in the last month. Will start updating in a day or two.
Can't wait to see some new stuff Nilesh!
Excellent,amazing!

Eu adoro tudo o que tenha haver com o mundo oriental. As fotos sao espectaculares. Parabens.
I adore everything what has with the eastern world. The photos are spectacular. Congratulations.
excellent collection... u must be some expert photographer!! good work man :)
hey do photos with a 4 migapixel come this good:) what do u think??
Hello Chandra, I am no expert photographer but yes, I do apply my mind sometimes. The quality of photos does not depend on the megapixel capacity of your camera. Megapixels only tell you how big you can enlarge the photo to either view or print. Quality does depend on the digicam CCD element, the skill of the photographer and lots of other factors.
Omg, I find these awesome!!!
The first photograph is excellent. The colour details are superb. Recently visited Coorg and Namdroling Monastery. I was simply awed by the Monastery.
I think it is a great achivements with the tibetans being in Exiled all over the world. I wonder some of these tibetan lamas think about free tibet ever. that is what tibet tibet needs, bnnot the old monestaries again, the reason why we lost our country. Pheew! I am a tibetan from the west , by the way. I saw majorities of the tibetans in India and tibet are in great poverty , and i am always surprised with all these materialistics monestaries places like in India. For what! Budha never wanted this i guess! you are an idian Photografer. What do you think about it! Anyhow i appreciate your intesrest in Tibetan Culture. Thanks anyhow atleast it is at least about Tibet and i should be appriciating it.
