I'm back. After a two month hiatus from blogging. Continuing where we stopped last time, we travelled from Dharamsala to Manali in our Himachal trip this March. In a village called Jagatsukh near Manali, there is a small Mahadev Temple built in traditional Manali style - from carved wood. The pujari of the temple was a pious little old woman! She was more than happy to pose for a photo

I took the same trip as you a few years ago but in those days I didn't carry a camera, I didn't even have luggage, just a day pack. I loved the travelling but I wish I had been into photography then!
Lighting appeals. The woodwork behind and the ladies face are so much in sync.
Interesting subject. IMHO it could benefit from flash at a fraction of full blast to bring her face to light. You can also use directional cast in PS. Cheers.
Thank you for sharing your photos..brings such fond memories of my trip to India...It has infected me with a desire to return as much as possible.
