Common Hoopoe

The Hoopoe blends perfectly with its background here at the Taj Mosque making it difficult for anyone to spot it easily. Fortunately I noticed it before anyone could come close. The bird was cool enough about my presence and allowed me to take a photo before flying away. On a little researching I found that the hoopoe prefers cooler places. So its rare to find it in the open in the summer heat.
